Linking Land and Farmers (LLAF) provides land access resources for both landowners and land seekers in British Columbia (B.C.), Canada with the goal of seeing as much land as possible in agricultural production. We provide resources for a range of land tenure models, sample agreements, information on legislation, what to look for when acquiring land and more.

Linking Land and Farmers (LLAF) has operated in the Lower Vancouver Island region for over 20 years. In the past LLAF provided and supported land matches. As more food security groups are working towards this goal, LLAF has shifted focus to become a BC portal for resources in relation to land access and tenure.

We proudly partner with FarmLINK and encourage matches through their MatchMaker tool which brings together new farmers who are looking for land or mentorship with farm owners who have land available or expertise to share. We support Young Agrarians and their land linking workshops and pilot program. Our communities are stronger because of these collaborations.
