Land access resources means sharing resources on helping you get the farm training you need to be successful in your business. The following is a selection of agriculture oriented education and resources in B.C.. These organizations offer a range of training through workshops, online, accredited programs or apprenticeship. Please follow the links for additional information regarding current programming. Please note many farms across the province also offer onsite workshops throughout the season, connecting with a local farm near you can be an excellent resource.

Centre for Sustainable Food Systems at UBC Farm (Vancouver)
UBC Farm offers short courses and workshops as well as a practicum in sustainable agriculture program.

Gaia College (Cowichan Station)
Offers classroom and online courses include organic horticulture, master gardener, plant knowledge, growing food in the city and organic soil management.

Offers a range on annual, onsite workshops.

Offers onsite internship and short courses.

Offers online courses with flexible timeline and is paired with field training courses on working farms in the area.

Pacific Horticulture College (Victoria)
Offers horticulture technician certificate program and short workshops and courses.

SOIL Apprenticeships (Canada)
Program links Canadian farmers willing to take on and train apprentices with folks wanting to work and learn on an organic farm using sustainable practices.
